1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Sang barbershop, dressed as a gangster.

2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I rarely make them, as i never succeed and it’s depressing failing at something year after year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Dont think so…

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. And i would very much like it to stay this way.

5. What countries did you visit?
America, twice.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A house of my own, a proper job (both after i graduate). oh yeh, and a degree.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Lots. Both my trips to america were great fun. Bugsy, in november was an amazing week, every Cat Empire gig i went to, and meeting them all last time! It was a great year.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I dunno. Bugsy was good. being on stage *and* in the band. I was quite pleased with that.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Oh, who knows? I’ve probably failed at lots of things.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing serious.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Lots of tickets to see the Cat Empire. 4 times in a year. once in NYC. Im a hardcore fan. oh yeh!

12. Whose behavior merited praise?
Lots of people. Too many to mention

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Wow. this question could make you some enemies. I dont think anyone has really made me appalled or depressed. I dont really hold grudges though, and try to forget the bad things about people.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Camera stuff, flights to america, that kind of thing

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Meeting the cat empire. Wow.

Hmmm… Any song from the Cat Empires latest albums?

a) happier or sadder? about the same i guess.
b) thinner or fatter? my thickness rarely changes
c) richer or poorer? poorer. much poorer

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
work and all these projects i start and never finish

Nothing really…

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
i SPENT christmas at ali’s, in streatham, with the family

nope.

One. Only one. im not really a one night stand sort of person

Scrubs, House, Doctor Who, Spooks

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
I dont really hate people. There are a few people i like a lot less now

Not sure. i reread the his dark materials trilogy and they are still my favorite books. does that count?

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Good question. i’ve heard so much new music… Fania All Stars probably. Love them

ipod.

Some really nice, but really expensive camera stuff.

Superbad maybe? cant really remember lots of films i saw last year

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i was 23. im old. Great day though! went on the london eye, then to the OXO tower bar, for champagne (thanks Phil!) then to a restaurant around waterloo for a really nice meal (thanks mum!). then the next morning we went to Mint for an all you can eat brunch (thanks Ali and Kev!). It was all amazing

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not a great deal. It will be a hard year to top, for sure.

huh?

Lots of new toys to keep me distracted

no idea

Politics doesnt interest me a whole lot. I’ve been keeping an eye on the american election stuff though.

All my american friends, although i saw some of them when i visited.

All the MUGSS people

Having a job is good. Being a student, not so much.

At Ali, Kev and Phils house party in streatham.

Single. I dont like Valentines day much

Uni.

Had a job for most of last year. Back at uni from sept though

Nope.

I think i asked for directions a couple of times.

USA - new york state.

A single word to sum up a year? Im not even going to try.

No, dont think so.

From london back to manchester

Cat Empire 4 times. In to the Woods, Seussical the Musical, A Year With Frog And Toad, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Witches of Eastwick (i think they were all last year)

Yep.

Dont watch that total waste of electricity and space.

Oh i dunno. Stuart from PLC and I had a few pretty hardcore nights. I have been out drinking way too much with MUGSS. Everyones a a good drinking buddy to me.

Cat empire? NYE? That one with jinesh at the end of term? So many good nights….

Graduating. Seriously, im bored of uni…
