Just been sent the link above. It seems like the police are running some sort of fear-mongering campaign to get everyone thinking that anyone taking photos in public must be a terrorist. With london being the huge tourist spot it is, and everyone taking photos of… well, everything, im not really sure what the effect of this will be.

Yes, that time is approaching once again. In just under 2 months a ridiculous amount of people will be flooding on to the big stage at the RNCM, some as peers in the House of Lords, some as fairies, all singing and dancing. Yes, MUGSS are back with this semesters G&S show, Iolanthe. OK, 2 months is quite a long way a way for anyone who isn’t actually involved with it, but buy your tickets now! Last November I was a member of Fat Sams gang in Bugsy Malone, (a few photos above from that), and after 6 sell out shows of that, this one is looking to be amazing as well. Tickets are cheap, and anyway, you get to see me turn in to a fairy. You cant put a price on that, surely?

I was hired to photograph the huge student pub crawl Carnage, in Southampton and Manchester the other week. Good fun night. Lots of students (around 1000-2000), go from bar to bar, ending up at a massive club, all with pre-purchased carnage t-shirts which they then to “enhance” with permanent markers during the course of the night. Much customisation of them goes on before the event too, it seems, with girls cutting bits off here and there to show as much of their breasts as possible, and guys just… well.. ripping them to shreds it seems? apparently it’s the carnage thing. Anyway, tiring night. 7 hours on my feet, taking photos of extremely inebriated people. Good fun though. good fun. I would do it again.
